The Three crowns have also been a symbol of Sweden since the 14th centuary iirc and wars have been fought about Denmark still using it in its coat of arms after the Swedish seceeded from the Kalmar union in 1523.

The three lions are the Danish lions, and the two lions are for Southern Jutland/Duchy of Slesvig.
Estonia also uses the three Danish lions in its [COA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Estonia).
