It’d do very well for SK, Japan, Taiwan and perhaps some other South east Asian countries make some serious effort at tightening their defense cooperation. Even if they’re not fully on same page on historical matters or which of some particular islands belongs to whom, i’m sure they all can agree that neither of them belong to russia or China and having any one of them toppled will be a domino crashing down for the rest to be shaken soon after by either one of the revisionist actors.
Yeah, I also had a plan to shell and occupy Switzerland, Cayman Islands, and Monaco.
Russia can barely invade/control a European country connected directly to Russia by a land border and somehow it’s gonna invade/control one island country and the other effectively island country from Russian perspective? BTW, both of them have defense treaty with US and host 50k and 30k US military in respective countries.
