Grazie mille!

Well, yes. There are freezing rains overnight, so drive safe and account for more time. 4×4 means nothing when traction is at 0.
Yes, there will most likely be freezing rain.
But there is always a bit uncertainity how severe it will be.
I think if you are equipped with a good car and tires, driving safely, and give yourself enough time, you should be fine. Level 3 is quite high and I feel meteo Swiss only pulls levels 3 and 4 out rarely. The snow storm we had in the Zurich area a few weeks back was a level 3, and the roads were a complete shit show.
If in doubt, get a taxi.
What kind of response do you expect? Be careful and plan more time.
Yes, it can be dangerous. Drive carefully, especially over bridges, avoid steep roads if possible and take your time.
Nah they are fooling around lmao
I just almost bit it hard while walking the dog – there’s a lot of black ice, be safe
A couple general tips for driving in icy conditions:
Take ot slow. Goes for the tempo aswell as your steering and pedal inputs. Any harsh/quick inputs will make the car less stable.
Braking dinstance is twice as long if not longer in these conditions. Also pressibg the pedal completely doesn’t do much, the tires can only support so much braking pressure
Don’t turn the wheel more than you really have to. More steering lock will cause the front tires to slip more easily, causing your caar to understeer.
If you struggle with turning instead you can really gently touch the brake pedal during turning, not to slow down the car but just enough to transfer more weight onto the front tires.
