      Chris Andrew’s an asshole and I have no love for Sinn Fein but Claudine and Robbie Keane can fuck off. Maybe, if they didn’t want any criticism, he shouldn’t have been working in an apartheid state to begin with, nor should he have stayed when it became apparent said state was engaged in a genocide.

      I think Keane’s decision to work in Israel was callously mercenary and utterly self-sabotaged his legacy and career … but this kind of response is beyond the pale. Whoever threatens _anyone’s_ family and children should fúck right off. Social Media was a mistake.

      Does Katie Taylor get grief on social media for having fought in Saudi Arabia for a huge payday? They are both just professional sportspeople doing their jobs whatever about the murkier matters (perceived or otherwise) that those country’s governments are involved in.

      Bad decisions by Keane and his wife’s public comments don’t help their PR, but SF’s entire growth in the last 6 years has been to make noise and complain about populist topics to garner cheap support and publicity. Scum.

      Complain about Keane fine, but if there are people from Sinn Fein complaining about him working for a ‘zionist entity’. By this logic shouldn’t there also be anger directed a companies that enable zionism like Google and Meta?

      I haven’t any such protests outside their offices

      Claudine is the perfect modern representation of a westbrit in Ireland. Palmer is her surname and is a shameless social climber. Robbie is some clempot to be lured into her oul fake plastic world. She’s as Irish as a red postbox and as easily painted over too if Robbie ever gets sense.
