The cause for the outrage over this isn’t just that the public only heard about it through these articles, but also because Orbán likes to talk about how he is “pennyless on paper”. And to top it off, he made a massive scandal in 2003 when then PM Medgyessy went on a week long vacation in Cuba. That was 22 years ago, and that scandal had a massive importance in Medgyessy’s downfall a few months later.
Vacation is a stretch unless he is in the country side and rural parts. Most cities in India are massive construction zones right now and AQI is so bad. Idea of vacation is being able to relax not add more stress into your lives.
