She’s no Orban or Fico. Meloni is pro-NATO and pro-EU. Her having good relations with Trump will be a net positive for the EU.
Even though I don’t share many ideas with Meloni, I think she is doing well as Prime Minister and she hasn’t gone off the rails like her friends Orban or Fico, but Italy is doing rather well and I congratulate her for that! I sympathize with her!

If you call every right wing politician far-right or fascist you risk people not understanding what those words mean anymore and then before you know it they are supporting actual extremists.
Meloni is just a regular conservative. Luckily she’s also supporting Ukraine and wants to have dialogue with the EU instead of advocating its destruction. She’s also not stupid and knows that having good relations with the next US president is a good move. You don’t have to like her, but you also don’t have to lie about her.
