Ciao! Sono un americano in viaggio in Germania questo martedì per visitare la mia migliore/sorella/precedente studentessa in cambio. Dato che Natale è appena passato e il suo compleanno è a gennaio, ho comprato un sacco di snack americani (per lo più cibo spazzatura) o cose che aveva richiesto, ma non sapevo se sarebbero stati accettati. Da parte mia alla dogana dato che ce ne sono molti, tuttavia sono abbastanza sicuro che nessuno di loro sia di per sé un articolo proibito a causa di ingredienti simili o altro.
Qualche consiglio? Non sono del tutto sicuro di come funzionerà la dogana una volta atterrato all’aeroporto di Francoforte e voglio essere preparato. Per riferimento, questa è una valigia di medie dimensioni (quindi non come una valigia grande o una dimensione da bagaglio a mano).

No problem, that’s all processed and sealed food. Also, you most likely won’t even see a customs agent as they only do spot checks.

Won’t be a problem. I take that stuff back all the time. Also, you may want to take just the cheese packets for the mac n cheese. You can get the noodles anywhere.
According to the Zoll (German customs) you can bring up to “… 5 kg of fresh produce or 2 kg of other products that are carried in personal luggage for personal use …” with you. Above that you have to do complicated paper work or smuggle it and hope that you won’t be caught.

As long as you don’t have illegal products and the worth of the products don’t exceed your travellers’ allowances you should be fine.

No idea tbh… but is it even worth the trouble? Certain varieties may be hard to find here but you can get reese’s, poptarts, oreos etc on Amazon in Germany and I’ve seen poptarts, oreos, and sour patches at our store. I’d compare some prices beforehand.

Unfortunately yes but you tell me what airport you’re flying into I will be there to have a friendly word with the customs officers and can help you eat…I mean bring the items through safely but not in my tummy or anything weird like that… *licks lips*
Seriously: If you saw my 23 kg bag last year filled to the brim with custard creams, bisto gravy and all sorts of British food. No one batted an eye. You’ll be fine. 🙂
