Ciao! Devo ristrutturare un appartamento (costruito nel 2012 circa), situato nel distretto di Larnaca.
Ho trovato prese per il telefono nelle camere.
Quello nel soggiorno nasconde 2 canali/tubi. Quello di sinistra contiene un cavo a 2 fili e ovviamente connettori RJ11. Il tubo destro contiene un cavo Ethernet che ovviamente si collega all’antenna Ghofi precedentemente utilizzata sul tetto.
Nelle camere da letto sono presenti prese telefoniche collegate con 2 fili ciascuna.
Poiché in futuro il telefono fisso non sarà più utilizzato, mi chiedo se non potrei usare i tubi per far passare i cavi CAT6 e collegarli tramite un hub al router.
Probabilmente qualcuno lo sa grazie ai propri progetti fai da te o per professione?

you can. if the electrician ( I am one ) did the tubing and wiring of the phones correctly all should terminate in the same place ( usually an auxiliary box often wooden ) and you can put the router there
You can. Contact any electrician. You need more than one person to do it, because you need to replace cables, and this is physically challenging task). You also need to replace sockets. I’d say it would cost about €25 per socket at large number of sockets, or €50 per socket if it’s one or two.
PS If it’s rental property, ask landlord permssion before.
You can remove existing cables (and sockets) and replace it with CAT6 cables with TJ45. It will be the right thing to do.
Or you can buy RJ45 sockets and use existing wires which will require you to connect proper wires to proper pins of the socket and will limit you to 100mbit/s. Also you can face another issues if cables are in bad condition or distance is long.
