      I think we need to take a step back from what ends up on X and what ends up official US policy. I suspect the rhetoric on X will not find its way into the official position of the US Government. Trump is trying to make a point regarding imbalances in trade and what he sees as other countries taking advantage of the US. Elon is just trolling because he can and he likes poking the current UK Government who to be fair have been involved in a war of words with him.
