Il primo ministro slovacco Fico minaccia di sospendere gli aiuti umanitari e il welfare per i rifugiati a causa della disputa sul gas russo

Slovak PM Robert Fico and economy minister Denisa Saková have met with EU Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen in Brussels.

The meeting revolved around halted transit of Russian gas through Ukraine’s pipelines to and through Slovakia. This came as a result of Ukraine not extending the transit contract beyond its original expiration (1.1.2025), which it has telegraphed years in advance.

At the press conference following the meeting, Fico warned Ukraine that Russia will destroy the pipelines if they don’t transit its gas, and threatened to end all Slovak humanitarian aid to Ukraine in retaliation, including aid already approved by his government.

Fico further threatens severe welfare / social support cuts for Ukrainian refugees. “It is cruel, but Zelenskyy is cruel too,” the Slovak PM said. He has also mentioned a possible halt in electric energy transfer to Ukraine, should Slovakia’s eastern neighbour fail to prevent blackouts.

Slovak minister of economy Denisa Saková added that further negotiations on the matter will continue on Monday.

Funny thing is that there would be no gas via Slovakia if NordStream 2 was comissioned back in 2021… Russia was planning to stop using any gas pipe via Ukraine back in 2021.

So Fico should build a statue for anyone who blew up the NordStream 2 because it meant extra 3 years of extra income for gas transport..

Quit talking and just do it. All they do is threatening but they have no balls to go for it because they know at the end they are losers
