I think one of a few times I agree with what the president has done

Rules for thee but not for me!

All war criminals should be prosecuted for war crimes, and that includes Israeli war crimes.

If we can’t agree on this then none of the prosecuted in Hague in the last 30 years are legitimate. If Netanyahu isn’t arrested and prosecuted then all war criminals should be let go and Hague court should be declared as not legitimate court of law.

You either prosecute all war criminals or no war criminals. Europe cannot choose.

      Not surprised at all.
I wonder how they will behave when US decided to grab Greenland. It looks like Italy and Hungary ready to sell it. Poland can rein in Germany by force.

Sure, he can come to visit. He’s then “invited” to “visit” The Hague as well.

    5. As far as I know the Polish government can allow him to go, but in the end they have no say in whether or not he should be arrested afterwards or not. That is up to the judiciary branch, who should follow the law and that law says he should be arrested.

    6. Polish president and the Polish government are at political odds. This is just a pebble thrown into the government’s pond by a PiS’ puppet looking to make a few waves at the boss’ behest, nothing more.

Only idiots support arresting a head of state on foreign soil, that’s just asking for war

Opening up for Putin visiting Hungary next month. What a joke…

    9. Might as well finish the ICC at this point. Or at the very least remove the capability of issuing arrest warrants, they clearly mean nothing.

I do feel the importance of the leader from the Israeli people, however, he needs to be held accountable 🤷‍♂️

It’s 50/50 whether the purpose of the visit is to pay respects or to take notes.

Didn’t see people this divided when warrant for putin was made. Just saying.

As an Israeli, please take him off our hands. His corruption trial is far too slow….

I’m afraid that those who are waiting for Poland to do the funny thing will be really disappointed. The International Criminal Court is for failed states like Yugoslavia or some African countries, and don’t even get me started on the antisemitism accusation here, because Poland would probably like to avoid it. Too much is at stake here

    15. Mezzoski on

Yeah, sure why not. Just don’t complian later, if Macron wouldn’t arrest Putin when he comes to France.

    16. VictoriousLlamas_Sis on

Yes, do it. Please go your totally safe there bibi… meanwhile, Poland is a signatory to the ICC.

So we support law and order, but only as long as it fits our agenda?

Do you want to gas some Palestinians you brought on the plane? Or what.

Fuck them both. Anybody who defends this criminal subhuman trash is a subhuman trash.

Allow him home to Poland (where he’s from) and keep him there. Arrest him and let him face the consequences of his decades of crimes.

I’m all for a representative of the jewish community to be invited. But, these days, not a representative of Israel, who is guilty of ongoing genocide himself. Let them invite a famous or popular rabbi instead. Nethanyahou is a traitor to his own people.

    22. squirrel_exceptions on

You should have an *extremely* good reason not to allow the president of the Jewish state to visit the memorial for one of the most heinous crimes in human history, a site where large portions of his people were wiped out.

Being wanted on suspicion of currently committing genocide *is* such a good reason.
