>The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy has proposed extending the deployment of the EU civilian mission in Armenia for another two years, the High Representative’s press office told RFE/RL.

>“Member states have welcomed the proposal and are currently discussing the necessary legal acts with the relevant bodies of the Council of the European Union. The Council’s decision on the extension is expected in the coming days,” the written response provided to RFE/RL stated.
