Kinda wild premise. Bitcoin is just internet software. I havent seen studies on the environmental impact of online gaming but I suspect it’s outcome is similar to that of whatever Bitcoin is.
It would be very nice to know what dissertation this is for, what’s the subject, what school or university, who are you, etc before I start answering any studies. I mean isn’t that basic requirements for conducting a study like this? Just a link to Google docs without any information is very fishy, maybe illegal?
