      United Voltshevik Republics of Europe… wonderful.

      There is only like 50 regional, 30 national rivalries among the states, every single one has completely different culture with little to no common among them. I am sure that uniting all that is a great idea comrades.

      Federal Europe is pure fantasy.

      Most countries that are part of the union are in it primarily for economy and easy travel, the moment you try to push politics barriers are starting to show up pretty much everywhere.

      Maybe confederation like Switzerland would work but as it is right now EU is more akin to Holy Roman Empire than anything else.

      Maybe instead of wasting time on the useless concept of a Federal Europe, we ought to, I don’t know, boost our militaries, expand the existing EU, fight existing threats etc.?

      Nope, wouldn’t give away our sovereignity. We’re too different across Europe to ever function in a federal state. Cooperation is good but a Federal State is too far.

      There’s a reason why just a couple weeks ago there had to be a special meeting between Finland, Sweden, Italy, and Greece. It was an attempt to try and find common ground in questions since these countries have conflicting views most of the time in the EU.

      When Europeans were dangerous, how did that go for the Czechs? It was fine if you were on the Western seaboard of Europe- Spain, Portugal, France and the UK all had massive overseas empires- but if you were in the middle, you were just a pawn between Germany, Russia, etc. before they built up their navies and went hunting for their places in the sun.
      Be careful what you wish for…

      Being saying this for awhile, the rest of the world seem to have forgotten that Europe can be quite psychotic when not talking bout cooperation and peace. It is going to be one hell of a rude awakening.

      It’s not dangerous or militaristic that we need to be. It’s proactive and dedicated to protecting human life. We need to stop sitting on the sidelines while the actual dangerous people do what they want.

      Democracy is key here. Shut down external threats. Distribution of power and resources to the people so we can be better prepared.

      Capitalism is fucking us over too. It’s got the US completely brainrotted. And it’s doing a number on European people as well. It’s a massive threat that foreign powers use against us.

      The fact we now have a pair of absolute idiots running both of the superpowers and China siding with Russia on most things Europe is vulnerable. Like really if Trump sent troops to Greenland tomorrow who will do anything in Europe? No one cause it’s like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
