That would be quite big if true tbh.
They are taking the least offensive option for Russia.
Remember when they implied that “we got weapons for the part of that money” but never said what? Well because that was a lie and they didn’t.
Now they figured a way to not offend Russia (supposedly), and cover the debt. I mean it’s an option, however the more proper option would have been to do a simple investigation and forensic accounting, which would have revealed that Russian debt is much lower (Moldova did that), and the Russian owned companies broke laws many times over, and then bought them back pennies on the dollar or nationalized them.
