Puoi leggere a riguardo [here](https://eng.lsm.lv/article/economy/transport/11.04.2024-pre-paid-vouchers-now-available-for-riga-airport-taxi-rides.a550027/) e [here](https://www.riga-airport.com/en/taxi-service).

Or just take the bus, which is 10x cheaper.
I agree, but even cheaper and convinient option I prefer – use carsharing like CarGuru, CityBee, Bolt Drive.
I do fly quite often and issue with a bolt is that within peak hours this might be a raffle if you come to the price.
Say my destination is outside that voucher zone and usually it takes something like 25-30 eur with bolt. But there have been cases where rate came up to 50eur. And this is literally unpredictable. So after couple of those trips – if I see “increased rate”, i go and pick up carsharing from P3.
Also I’m not justifying voucher price. But, honestly it shouldn’t be below 25eur. It all depends on the location you’re going to. If going somewhere in pardaugava, this is overprice, but keep in mind if you have to cross Daugava in a rush hour this could be ~1h drive and taxis still have to make a profit.
Also this is just an option – if you don’t agree with a voucher price, simply look for alternatives. At least you’ll not be scammed for 80eur just to get to downtown Riga.
At the end of the day as a foreigner what options do you have – you can’t use apps/carsharing to get a lift where you want to go. Then what? bus with multiple bags and carry-on luggage – no thanks? Last option – shady scam taxis who will most definetely will rip you off and ruin your mood – no thanks.
This is a patch from RIX side to offer such service, but I’m amazed and frustrated with the inability to deal with that taxi mafia for years… years? no decades!
