This is the attitude we need from ALL leaders in the EU, not just Poland, Baltic and Nordic countries.

Unfortunately true. we’ve been acting like war was something from the past, couldn’t happen here anymore. I’m a pacifist at heart, but doing nothing is already biting us in the ass.

The vacation was nice while it lasted.
And the poor will be called on to take the brunt of the consequences while the rich will stay rich.
“History class was sooo boring” for all the poor kids who had to suffer from not living through Historical moments. Hopefully they’re all thankful for the generosity and kindness of Russia, just selflessly providing everyone with the opportunity to experience some history.
This quote will make it into the history books for sure.
