I’m not on the waiting list – I’m currently *waiting* to get on the waiting list. My lessons are all done, but I have to wait until my learners permit is 6 months old before I’m allowed to get on the 5-month-long waiting list to then be “invited to book” the test. It’s like they’re a parody of themselves
Start teaching driving in secondary school.
Imagine you could take lessons and your test during transition year or 5th year.
Would really simplify the entire process.
Imagine a town the size of Drogheda not having a test centre still. That’s contributing to wait times for people in Dundalk and Navan.
This is the kind of thing that should be easy to fix. Hire more testers.
What the fuck is this? Shitty groundhog day? This has been going on since the pandemic. Is there no accountability in this country?
