Per farla breve, ho incontrato un ragazzo russo che viveva in Slovenia e dopo essere stato con lui mi ha regalato una moneta ๐ c’รจ qualche significato, usanza o altro?
This one doesn’t seem like there’s any special significance. I’ve seen some memorial coins for 3โฌ, but this one seems to be just 3โฌ, so that’s the special part about it

This are collector coins (not to be confused with commemorative (2 โฌ) coins). These coins are legal tender only in the issuing eurozone country and not in others, as is the case with other forms of euro notes and coinage.
They are not super valuable, but they are a nice thing to have.

Without seeing the other side I’d hazard a guess that’s one of the commemorative special coins, specifically the one commemorating 20 years of our independence. Unlike other EUR coins those are only acceptable as payment in the country that they were issued in.

It’s a commemorative coin for the 20th anniversary of Slovenian independence – it should have a picture of Triglav on the back (3 peak mountain).
