      The article reports that search words such as #democrat is censored while #republican is not. Also posts of democrat politicians has been hidded.

      I did my own searching and found out that #prochoice is censored while #prolife isn’t. Same is with #voteblue being censored and #votered not. #abortion is also censored.

      In my country, a liberal means: someone who defends the interests of the free-market, who is against regulations of/in the economy, who is against state intervention in labour and market.

      So, the Republicans are very liberal by our standards, like Thatcher and Reagan were, which makes the use of the word in that post quite contradictory, since Musk and Trump enforce hardcore liberalism.

      This will only get so much worse as the US grows more autocratic. We need our own media or we wont have a chance to stand up to them

      Imagine if they start censoring people speaking up for european autonomy?

      That view is extremely biased. For example, currently #democrats is visible, while #republicans is hidden. Same goes with multiple key-words of *both* sides.

      Europe really need its own social medias that are not owned by american tech billionaires. Sadly, the EU would strangle any developer with legislation and regulations. 🙁

      Reddit comments over the last hours indicate that all of Europe may be hit on the ban.
      That words like “abortion” and other globally relevant subjects are now censored.

      This ain’t very good. I’m in Sweden right now and I just gave it a go: #prochoice is hidden due to sensitive content, but #prolife is not. #democrats is also hidden due to sensitive content, but #republican is very much visible.

      It’s time for the European Union to take action against this, preferably right now.
