The art of the deal – Agree to anything the other party demands, sign the papers, and go home to declare how you’ve made the best deal ever like the true artist of the deal 😀

man, russia really bet on the right horse, far right horse even 😀

    2. GeneraalSorryPardon on

Putin still lives in idiotland, with his unrealistic demands.

    3. Better_than_GOT_S8 on

Just in: Ukraine ready for talks on condition of complete surrender of Russia.

    4. Other_Class1906 on

Like every robber ever: “I’ll let you go, but first give me all your money.”

      >”Senior Kremlin officials, including Putin and Lavrov, have been reiterating in recent weeks that the Kremlin refuses to consider any compromises to Putin’s late 2021 and early 2022 demands, which include demands that Ukraine remain permanently ‘neutral’ and not join NATO, impose severe limitations on the size of the Ukrainian military, and remove the current Ukrainian government.”

So it’s just the same fucking thing they have demanded since the “Three day special operation” failed, and I had my hopes for that the Ukrainians was the ones to decide the pace toward the way of a ceasefire and in the end peace. The hope is diminishing now and without a strong Europe supporting UA the risk for a battle fatigued Ukraine getting railroaded in a peace process is actually very real. I hope we don’t stray from the path that it is Ukraine which decide when and if they are ready.

    6. DuaLipaMePippa on

So what there to talk about if your condition is complete surrender?

    7. neilinukraine on

This narcissistic criminal cannot negotiate anything without Ukraine present, and the terrorists need to leave Ukrainian land they invaded simply for his ego.

    8. Extreme-Radio-348 on

This is a typical Russian tactic – demand far more than you actually expect to get. This way, the other side is more likely to concede more than you had initially hoped for.

In Trump’s case, he would return to the USA and present it as the greatest deal in human history – giving half of Ukraine to Russia while claiming that Ukraine gets to keep its sovereignty

    9. Dependent_Savings303 on

noone goes in the negotiations with their real demands. “was letzte Preis?” (“what’s your final offer?”, a meme in germany when it comes to second-hand-items negotiation) will never work at the beginning. they start with their max, we with our and then we go step by step.

whatever should he say, what is expected? “we will pull out all soldiers and give back krim” – c’mon, everyone knows it’s somewhere in the middle. maybe 60/40, but for whom, we will see.

“I’ll only talk to you if you hand over everything you’ve got”

    11. I won’t fuck you I promise you just bend over before I let you go.

    12. Jumping-Gazelle on

Talk away. But “no” is also a valid answer for a sovereign country.

    13. Scott45uk on

Please for the love of anything anymore just kill pootin please lords 🙏

    14. Still on that mentality, huh? The empire refusing to negotiate directly with their “lesser”, even though they clearly got it handed to them.

    15. ivar-the-bonefull on

So he wanted to invade Ukraine because they were Nazis, and now he can finally count on the Nazis in the white house to beat the Nazis in Ukraine.

      Cool timeline this is.

    16. wgszpieg on

      Look

This has already been negotiated between cheeto and walmart hitler

Putin says: give me all I want!

Trump says: no, give me all I want!

So they “meet in the middle”, and do a compromise

      *tHe arT Of ThE dEaL*

Meanwile, Putin actually gets what he wanted, Trump gets to say hes the great negotiator, Ukrainians get fucked in the ass

    17. fuck putin, fuck trump, let’s kick them all in the arse

more nuclear weapons building in the EU ASAP.

let’s build new military alliances, only with pro-democracy regimes.

let’s fucking get ground troops in Ukraine. NOW.

    18. The last US president who negotiated a peace deal with Russia (and who won a Nobel Peace Prize for that, an award that Trump allegedly wants) was Theodore Roosevelt and despite Russia clearly losing the Russo-Japanese War, the Russian envoy did not budge and drove TR mad. I believe that what TR said back then still rings true today, e.g.

      > For years Russia has pursuit a policy of [..] literally fathomless mendacity. It has been impossible to trust to any promise she has made.

      or

      > What I cannot understand about the Russian is the way he will lie when he knows perfectly well that you know he is lying.

For all his bravado, I fear Trump is wholly unprepared to deal with a country for whom “mendacity is a science”.

    19. Hahahaha yeah sure like Ukraine 🇺🇦 would ever trust Putin further then Zelenskyy could throw him.

    20. IhazHedont on

We know how this will go.
Without the support of the US, Ukraine is gonna be in a very tough spot.
Trump might use this as leverage to force negotiation with Putin.
I guess eastern Ukraine and Crimea will stay in the hands of Russia.

    21. STerrier666 on

Aah so Putin is looking forward to giving Trump fresh orders or he’ll remind Trump that he still has a certain video.

    22. theonlytater on

Opening bid is a bit high, counter proposal surrender now and we’ll let you retire to micronesia.

    23. jhjacobs81 on

And this is all our (Europe) fault. Ofcourse it’s easy for me to say, behind my laptop, cozy and warm by the fire. But i can’t help but wonder if we (Europe) haven’t failed the people of Ukraine.

I think its lovely how we all go on egg shells because we dont want to risk a full scale conflict, but i think in the end thats where we’re going anyway. Putin and Trump are both like children. Give them a finger and next time they want the whole hand. We are fighting a proxy war, but in the end Ukraine is the only real loser 🙁

If we send our militairy to Ukraine, Putin may throw nukes. If we do nothing, next he comes after Poland and what not.

Someone really should send in some blackops to certain country’s to “deal with it”.

      But thats my view.

    24. filippo333 on

This is what he wanted all along. If Trump actually does this, it 100% proves that he’s intentions are malicious af (although I think most people already know this).

    25. DumbledoresShampoo on

Trump should do the same he did with Gaza: “Listen carefully, you have 24h to get every single russian and north korean soldier and equipment off of Ukrainian soil. After that, hell breaks lose.”

    26. NineFolded on

Europe better start stock piling nuclear weapons now! You’re caught between two fascist, hostile superpowers atm. A European military should have been in the works years ago and intelligence and tech beefed up beyond anything the US or Russia has and kept top secret until it was time to unleash

    27. CatpainLeghatsenia on

Putin “We will take Ukraine but in turn you will not intervene when we go for the Baltikum”

Trump “only if you take the rest of Europe too!”

    28. Siarzewski on

How about talking with ukraine? Talking about a third party without them sounds like another Ribbentrop-Molotow pact.

    29. Aromatic-Deer3886 on

No putler, it’s the other way around. Ruzzia surrenders and you go to The Hague. Though we will settle with you getting the ol’ Mussolini in the red square

    30. Extension_Canary3717 on

Humm he didn’t receive the memorando that Trump would finish this war day1 at office? So Putin doesn’t know yet the war ended yesterday

    31. heatrealist on

The EU will be ready to stand by Ukraine in their complete surrender.
