A shame really. I really liked her and her fierceness.
Self destruction.
I understand the exclusion from the party. It’s already hard enough to have a legitimate green political party in the center right, they don’t need to drama.
But death threats? Getting fired from her jobs? That’s a bit extreme there.
It was a long time coming. The fact that she came back months after disappearing from the public, only to double-down on the lie that she didn’t know it was a religious painting of Maria and Joseph, just goes to show how she views the public as morons and that she wants to play by her own rules. No pity for habitual liars.
Really baffles me how one can think: Yes, this is a good idea.
not a fan of her or her politics (i did however respect her for being opinionated and putting herself out there, often provoking) but that orchestrated shitstorm/takedown is something i haven’t seen in switzerland since thomas borer. disgusting.
for a pr professional she could have handled it better but everything was blown way out of proportion, especially the consequences she’s facing now.
