Only two of these countries are at war.
If Ukraine with a pre-war population of 44 million can raise 880,000 (up from a pre war number of 300,000) personnel, how many can Turkey (85 million), Poland (37 million), France (68 million), Germany (84 million), Italy (59 million) & the UK (68 million) raise?
Overall the EU+UK+Turkey have a population of above 600 million, compared to Russia with 144 million, although i’m not sure if numbers of soldiers would be the deciding factor in any full scale conflict.

iirc we have 20k people in the norwegian military. Even though we probably spend 10x more per person then russia we would get smashed if they sent 200k or maybe even 100k

Does the graphic actually mean anything? Because the lowest number is 138 and it has 2 tiny people (how else do you call those in English?), the second lowest has 171 and it has four. 171 is not nearly double 138.

Think about how stupid this sounds to a Ukrainian soldier. Europe’s shield? Why should Ukraine have to fight and die to shield the rest of Europe?
Most of Europe is in the biggest military alliance in the world. Europe is rich, Europe has almost endless man power, yet you’re forcing the poorest country in Europe, with almost no economy and no military industry to fight for you? Why? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Shouldn’t Europe do the shielding of single countries?
In my opinion, it would be much better to say something like this is Ukraine fight for independence from Russia. Ukrainian soldiers are the shield that protects Ukrainian citizens. The rest of Europe can protect itself.
Why are you counting people and not nuclear weapons?

Most, if not almost all of these russian soldiers are inexperienced, untrained conscripts that at worst just end up as cannon fodder while most of the EU ones are Professional Soldiers who are much better trained. also Europe has much more advanced technology in comparison.
Also don’t forget that most countries that actually have to defend their land will also force as many conscripts they can into the war.
This is United24 so they have a life or death reason to report in a way that supports Ukraine receiving more aid, by pointing at the lack of preparedness of NATO’s European members and instilling fear to push for more support. I do ofcourse believe Ukraine should receive all the help we can muster yesterday.
But to the meat of the manpower numbers and their meaning. Pure boot count means way less than it did in WW1 or WW2, we have weapons of war that will anihilate large troop concentrations and we have small arms weapon systems that will force multiply a single soldier by more than 10 fold when put against enemies with +40 year old gear. Imagine basic ruzi meat wave with cold war AK’s with 0 optics going against thermal/NV optics equipped DMR’s and modern LMG’s in the night. The ruzis wont see anything else than the bullets entering their skulls and even if they could see they have no way to shoot into +1000m ranges. The main reason numbers play so much in russo-ukraine is because there is no clear dominating technical advantage for Ukraine, modern NATO gear and training would completely destroy the 1:1 manpower comparisons VS the russian failed state.
Ask those wagner troops from “Battle of Khasham” how well that +10 fold numerical advantage VS US played out for them, spoiler: they ate dirt to the tune of 100-200 to 0 (yes that is ZERO casualties on US side).
Damn so Russia basically has more troops than all of Europe combined (excl. Ukraine)

Ukraine joins the EU but not NATO.
Everyone will have to live with it.

Europeans will need to build up their military. America is not coming to the rescue. It pains me to say that, Trump is untrustworthy and self serving.
