That’s indeed very cool. Unfortunately most meters are still analogue, so they are only evaluated once a year, which makes it impossible to get the details.
It is mandatory to provide you this monthly overview if your apartment has a modern heat cost allocator that wirelessly transmits its data.
The devices themselves become mandatory in 2026, so your new apartment has already transitioned.
I have an analog thing living in a house. I mean, at least for heating (not electricity) part. The boiler app gives me reports about how much gas I’ve used for heating and hot water every month, so I can see if it’s fitting my estimations (I have an annual gas contract). It helps a lot to keep the peace of mind.
Nowadays they also offer smart electricity meters, which give such reports / real time consumption in an app, so it’s possible to control everything without much effort.
I just get the usage in kwh and m³ warm water in comparisson to the previous month. I dont have a cool demographic 🙁
