Here is a suggestion. Why don’t EU demand that USA retreats from EU and take all the bases and personnel back?
As usualy, EU will try to play peek-a-boo with Trump hoping they can bide time for 4 more years until a regime change in the USA like the last time Trump was in power. But guess what? Trump ain’t gonna be running another time, and he ain’t got nothing to loose. He is after a Reaganite legacy of his own, and he will hit with everything he has to achieve that.
Don’t forget that his deregulation and populist policies actually worked (because deregulation always works in the short term) and if he manages to pull the same economic bubble he did the last time till Covid hit (low unemployment rate, massive gdp growth etc) Americans will have no problem voting for another MAGA successor like Vance. And Americans are increasingly being brain-washed to see Europe as their rightful bounty ever since MAGA started preaching how US tax dollars are being spent to protect Europe and how that money could be in American pockets.
