Windy, but the usual wind. Nothing like Éowyn. Doubt MétEireann\MetOffice name it. Instead it might be name by the Spanish or portuguese institutes due the impacts here, Portugal, where I live, forecast to get 250mm of rain in 24h, a possible record (monthly rainfall in 24h)
The first one will wander up, hang around off the west coast, and then leave, and the second one will divert and hit France having lost most of its power by that point.
Neither will be bad : going to be pretty windy though.

It’s forecasted to be standard windy day on Met Eireann, not a storm
Let’s not all turn into meteorologists

The eye is too big for it to be a storm. Just a windy weather system
I’m 15 slates down. Too afraid to see where the rest of them are sitting on the roof. I dont need anymore storms cheers.

As I had said before, this was named by AEMET just now as Storm Herminia. Changes nothing, expect 120kmh in the coasts of Ireland, quite “stormy” but not near as strong as this one.

Last nights was mildly blowy here in Waterford. Heard a wheelie bin lid slightly open once. Not quite the cinematic level devastation my missus was predicting.

There are two more storms queued up behind Eowyn.

Had me worried it was looping back around or something! Looks like it’s landing in Scotland now : https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-5.29,54.73,3674/loc=-3.609,55.639
