Grande protesta oggi in molte città serbe, due delle quali mostrate nel video: Belgrado e Lazarevac. Quasi tutte le attività commerciali non controllate dal governo oggi sono chiuse, la gente non fa acquisti e non frequenta ristoranti e bar, alcuni club non funzionano e molte scuole sono chiuse in modo che i bambini e gli insegnanti possano andare in strada. I genitori non mandano i figli nelle scuole che funzionano, sostenendo insegnanti e studenti.

      Our government is well known for miscounting people on protests.
      The highlight was one protest where 20 000+ protestors were gathered, and where the ruling party counted 600.

      I guess there are at least 600 now as well…

      The supposed “populist” being in shambles when the populace tells him to go fuck himself. Its not even hard to be a left wing populist. You dont have to be a strongman corrupt cunt to do it.

      But I guess its easier to suck Putin off, than to… idonno, do something else. Like governing decently.

      If it wasnt for this sub i wouldnt know about this, I wonder why is our news media so silent about such massive protests that have been going for such a long time. Georgia wich is much farther than Serbia got way more atention.

      So what’s the ideal and probable ending of all of this? Is there some popular opposition that would take power if the government fell like in Georgia? Would it maybe cause a more pro EU shift in serbia?
