      >**A general strike, described as a day of “general civil disobedience,” initiated by protesting students, began on Friday.**

      >“We won’t go to work, we won’t attend lectures, we won’t run errands. Let’s take our freedom into our own hands! Your participation makes a difference,” the students wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, inviting everyone to join the movement.

      >Numerous companies, associations, and political parties have expressed their support for the initiative. N1 has also joined the general strike and will exclusively report on events related to it on Friday.

      >At 11:52 am., a 15-minute moment of silence will be observed at various locations across Serbia, marking the exact time when an outdoor concrete canopy at the recently renovated Novi Sad train station collapsed on November 1, claiming the lives of 15 people and seriously injuring two others.

      >Additionally, the Protest Committee of Lawyers has scheduled a protest rally for 2 pm outside the Serbian Presidency building in Belgrade.

This is ending like in Romani in 1989 or like in Belarus Lukašenko from 2020 but unsuccessful.

This is the biggest strike in history. Every city, every village is protesting. This is huge and serious. Fascist goverment seems to be afraid a little bit :).

Serb here about to criticize other Serbs making anti EU comments:

EU is indifferent. EU currently has their own pressing matters to handle. Additionally, grow the fuck up, EU get’s involved – you cry “EU should mind their own business”; EU doesn’t get involved – you cry “EU, this is all your fault!”

      Let’s not forget the following:

      – Vučić takes Chinese loans, and burdens government budgets not intended for that to pay it off – bleeding money into his pockets

      – SNS literally gifted NIS to Gazprom and Russia, in exchange for the south pipeworks (which we never got), and menial discount.

We need to stop fucking shooting ourself in the foot. This is not the west or the east. This is SNS selling Serbia piece by piece. This is our fault, no EU, no US, completely our accountability. We are too pragmatic, too stupid to admit it and do something about it.
