Because you have to keep a distance from the crosswalk so that the view of waiting pedestrians is not obscured. If “stopped” means “parked”.

5m ~~around~~ before the pedestrian crossing is Halt- und Parkverbot. So, red

EDIT I was drunk and early

You aren’t allowed to park on or 5m in front of a zebra crossing

no stopping 5 meters before a Zebra crossing.

Reason: blocking the line of sight of someone wanting to cross

As a driver you have to allow pedestrians to cross.

It bugs the hell out of me driving in france where cars are always allowed to park and always block the visibility

      Only the Red One

It is forbidden to stop or park on or up to 5 meters in front of the crosswalk. So when you park behind it like the yellow one its legal.

Red car will block the view of crosswalk and if there is a person that will cross across other drivers might not be able to see so it can turn out badly.

The red car.. you should at least give around 5-8 meters of space from your the sign to your car.

On a pedestrian crossing and up to 5 m IN FRONT no stopping or parking is allowed. So, you can freely view the pedestrian crossing, but AFTER the pedestrian crossing you can park right next to it since you can see if someone is trying to cross the road (from the right side)
