Its been a long time since I’ve seen such a thing.
If I’m not mistaken this mini pillow should be stuffed with cotton with a drop of “blessed oil” as we call it here in Greece. Its basically olive oil blessed by a priest.
You just carry it with you as a blessing.
My grandma was a tailor and she used to have one of these to store her needles in. I dont know if thats the most common way to use such a thing. It could very easily also be used as a charm, like the other person said.
