Paris, Jan 28 (EFE).- France said on Tuesday that it may consider deploying troops to Greenland if Denmark requests it, following US President Donald Trump’s remarks calling the Arctic island strategically important for the security of the United States.

trump’s fake argument is that they protect greenland, so it should be US territory instead of denmark.
Denmark should answer by kicking out the americans and placing european soldiers instead.
Europe needs to learn that we’re on our own. We’ve always been.
US has always been inconsistent with their policy. Let’s not forget in WWII they were sitting pretty for years and it took japan attacking pear harbor for them to be directly involved in the war.
US is still an ally, but never trust them or be completely dependent on them.

Recent survey on Greenland says 85% do not want to be part of USA. 9% does not give a shit and 6% says yes please.
Bit surprising 6% is ready to forgo the strong indepence desire, but considering the survey only asked 497 people online there is a tiny bit of statistical uncertainty.
