Well this is beyond upsetting to read. Absolutely scumbags and they’ll get off with a slap on the wrist. My brother with DS uses public transport and from the start this has always been my fear that some asshole will take advantage of him or mug him.

Sorry, start treating them all like adults at 13. If you’re robbing people with down syndrome at 16 you are not going to ever be a functioning part of society. I just couldn’t believe it.

I don’t want these people to basically have the same lives as anyone else lol, they don’t deserve it.

    3. Scumbag limbo. How low can you go? Not much lower than this.

That scene in Adam and Paul was harrowing enough and it was fictional. This is just scummy

I’m pretty sure the source of this matter is down to negligent parenting, yet there are fuck all consequences dished out for that – there should be when it comes to dealing with minors who are causing issues like this.

This has me thinking of something I’ve often meant to ask……

Anyone know if crimes committed as a minor show up if Garda vetting is later sought as an adult?

Ilac Centre to College Green is an awful long distance for a vulnerable, probably scared and confused person to spend with the two leeches.

Crimes like these under the age of 18 should be punished with removal of child benefit for the parents.

This is an incredibly depressing story and I really hope the poor victims aren’t traumatised or have lost the confidence to be independent.
