Ciao!
Grazie in anticipo!!
(Facce nascoste, ovviamente, ma questo è stato da quando abbiamo inviato il nostro primo round di lettere! ♥ ️ ♥ Pic quindi non ci perdiamo)

I can’t tell you where you can ship it to the US, but I can tell you about a few brands that Danes like.
Some brands that are popular in Denmark:
Gajol – they make licorice pastilles that serves as breath refreshers. The blue one is the original one and in my opinion the superior one.
Toms – mostly known for the chocolate bars Guldbarren and Skildpadder. They also make gummies and licorice.
Anton Berg – mostly known for making delicious marzipan bars with chocolate on them.
Nørregade – they make hard candies with different flavors.
Malaco – this is actually a Swedish candy brand that makes gummies, but they are very popular in Denmark.
Haribo – is a German candy brand, but the most popular candy brand in Denmark. They make gummies and licorice. Haribo is a must, especially the variant called Matador Mix.
Kims is a potato chip brand. They make pretty run of the mill chips, but Danes eat them a lot. Their marketing was so popular in the 2000s that they have cemented themselves as the go to brand. Among their variants, there are something called flæskesvær, which is pig skin that has been deep fried. It is a classic snack, I don’t like them, but they might be fun for the kids to try. You can also get them from other brands or no name brands in Denmark.
Other than that, frugtstænger and frugtpålæg, are also a popular snack for kids in Denmark. They are typicslæy made from figs, but other fruits are also added in. They can be used as a snack or as toppin on a slice of bread in the lunchbox.
Kids also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but I suspect that isn’t as fun.
You can try and do some research on common Danish candies and see what you find. There are plenty of taste test videos on youtube where people try different Danish foods and snacks and talk about them if you are overwhelmed. They should be helpful.
I hope your class has a fun time learning about Denmark😊

It ships internationally!
A quick look for me on the website, I recommend Cocio chocolate milk. It’s very popular.
I also recommend if you buy candy, that you are aware that licorice is a huge thing. Black, salty, sweet, hard, soft. We nordics love our licorice, that might be fun to try, but it also might not be a hit. Afaik, Americans aren’t that big on licorice.
Marzipan bars could be a safe bet.
The chocolate turtles are popular, keep in mind it has real rum in it. But it’s delicious.
If you have Any questions about it, feel free to dm me and ask!
