The war with Russia had very little impact on Spain because there was no direct energy dependence, but they also didn’t contribute much to Ukraine and are far behind in European defense spending.
Not being affected adversely by energy spikes and the [Iberian exception](https://www.euractiv.com/section/electricity/news/eu-agrees-to-extend-spain-portugal-gas-price-cap-until-end-december/) seems to be helping Spain at the moment…

This increase is from the rich people from other countries coming in, buying everything and raising up the prices, but it’s fucking the economy for the actual working people
The irony that a lot of this growth is being powered by tourism while Spain seems hellbent on trying to stop more tourists for coming. One of those things isn’t gonna last
