      I’m guessing this is going to get racked over the coals, but only due to the implementation of such a law being really really difficult

      (apparently really difficult, personally I’m still open to just sledgehammering every computer with this software on it until it is expunged from the planet)

      It’s the labour government trying for a quick P.R win.

      Every offence listed In the article is pretty much covered by othere laws. Pseudo photographs are already covered under existing csam laws.

      The tools that are used to create wi csam are the same used to produce all other ai image’s

      If you read the similar article on the BBC Website it has more details. Including things that cloud have serious privacy concerns

      And wanting to tackle porn with adult actors that appear underage. (there consenting adults piss off).
