He’s known in the area to be a vulnerable person. There really should be reporting restrictions around cases like this. It was the same when he was arrested, the media were all over him.
There should be more compassion shown for vulnerable people and those with genuine mental health issues.

From reading the article about his other court appearance, the man is clearly mentally unwell. I really hope he gets some support.
I remember this story, did t the cat escape when the police were talking with him and he got very upset, so upset that they arrested him and then he was distraught in custody while the cat was still lost? Seems like a very vulnerable person who couldn’t regulate himself in the moment and things escalated

The cat probably gives him the base amount of fulfilment required to not go completely awol. He needs a second one to promote mental stability

EDIT: yes i just checked with her and it absolutely is. giggles aside this poor man is extremely vulnerable and we beed better adult protection services. if half the shite he’s said has happened to him or been done to him is true it makes me really sad.
