The building is doomed for any gastronomy… The new skypark will have anything that is needed so why would anyone make their way down to the old Check Inn? They have very limited parking and with Cargolux HQ having moved to Sandweiler many potential customers for lunch time have been lost.
11.000 Euro a month just to lease the restaurant… The prices for lunch will have to be astronomical to remotely cover the cost of running it which of course won’t work as nobody wants to pay 25 euro+ for lunch.
