      * Despite some threats from U.S. President Donald Trump, there are hopes the U.K. could avoid tariffs.
      * The U.K.’s services economy means it would be largely shielded even if the country does get slapped with duties, one economist told CNBC.
      * If Britain manages to avoid tariffs altogether — while other countries are targetted — it could capitalize on its position to boost its economy and key industries, another analyst said.

We’re gonna win so much, we may even get tired of winning. And we’ll say, ‘Please, please. It’s too much winning.

The UK is going to become the preferred destination of American capital flight when the trouble starts in earnest.

I think the biggest winner will be China. Look how China is conducting a quiet and peaceful policy compared to the US. The orange monkey has barely become president and is already causing chaos.

The UK is thinking about voting for Farage. They’re not winning anything.

Canada is decoupling from the US economically and countries like the UK will only benefit from this.

    7. If that actually happened, it would be one of the most insane turns of fortune.

To be honest, the UK needs that kind of miracle to get out of its hole. It’s time to get over Brexit and realise that this isn’t a zero-sum game where Europe wins by making Britain lose or vice versa — a more resilient Britain means a more resilient Europe.

I don’t think there are winners in this content but US is definitely the biggest loser

The UK needs to fix Brexit red tapes for businesses, until.then they are losing.

      Full quote:

““We’re going to win so much, you’re going to get tired of winning. You’re going to say, ‘Please Mr. President, I have a headache. Please, don’t win so much. This is getting terrible.’ And I’m going to say, ‘No, we have to make America great again.’ You’re gonna say, ‘Please.’ I said, ‘Nope, nope. We’re gonna keep winning.’””

Even Trump’s winning sounds non consensual.

The UK lost all possible signs of winning after they chose to remove themselves from the EU, a decision that’s still being felt negatively 5 years later.

Any sane, normal, non-violent people out there wanna trade? We has stuff!

      Please? Pretty please?

If the EU is smart for once, they strengthen the trade relation with Canada asap. If that happens I don’t see how the UK will profit.

Putin is worried about UK citizens realising brexit was a mistake and wanting to get closer to the EU again.

He needs brexit to be seen as a success and telling the US to help out even if it’s a net loss to them. Short term I can see us getting some handouts tbh.

There is opportunity in the chaos.

It all depends on how trump acts and how our government responds.

Canada needs to join the Tempest FCAS fighter project with U.K./Japan/Italy ASAP. Those F-35s you are buying have an off switch controlled by a neighbour who wants to make you a province

Id rather live in a shack than side with the US. But if we can rekindle a CANZUK pact that would be swell.

However, can we stop trying to be one or the other. Hows about CANZUK has a deal with the EU and we work together as trade allies?

The end goal should be to stop the superpowers who are clearly eyeing up the whole pie for themselves.
