did they also stop using forte? hopefully if they have been absent, they will also re-appear.. then again I hope the information gathered by these flights isn’t being given to russia…. I guess well see if these flights are challeneged by russia…
We cannot infer much from these activities because so much is covered by secrecy. Even if we knew details about the capabilities of RC-135, we don’t know what specific activities on the enemy’s side they are currently for. Also, it is possible that JAKE17 is there just for “leave time substitution” for a similar Ukrainian capacity.
For example, you may have noticed that NATO E-3 Sentry AWACS flights became less around the theater. This does not necessarily mean less but more reconnaissance, because Ukraine may use the Saab 340AEW Erieye plane(s) it obtained from Sweden.
All it shows to us is that NATO is still engaged, but frankly, we already know and there is no alternative for NATO in light of what that Botox guy keeps his propaganda machine whining about.
