Following Salwan Momika’s murder on January 29, 2025, he was killed just before a court verdict related to his Quran burnings was to be announced, making the timing significant and controversial. The five individuals arrested shortly after his death were released due to diminishing evidence against them, suggesting complications in determining accountability for the murder.

I wonder what that diminishing evidence might be. Did they all suddenly have alibis.

So whoever did it will likely get away with it.

      Pathetic.

I don’t agree with book burning, be it the Quran, the turner diaries or Aesop’s fables. But murdering someone for it? Yeah no. If you murder someone for something like that? You deserve jail time. No mitigating factors

Why is this framed as if they released his killer(s)? Swedish police probably had some initial suspects and needed to detain them to actually investigate.

      Arrested doesn’t mean guilty

Lol they where releases last week. Old news. Non of them was suspects of the actual murder but for ‘protecting/aiding a criminal’. Since they where released so fast the police most likely figured out that they had nothing to do with it.

He was on trial for the things he said about muslims. Not for burning a koran.

I believe people should be free to burn, tear up, even crap on the quran, the bible, any other religious text, the US Constitution, the US flag, and any other item that some other person holds dear without fear of being murdered or prosecuted. I am talking about mass produced reproductions or copies that the actor actually owns. I am not referring to any original or historic version of said item. Are people so fragile that such an act causes them harm or emotional distress?
