As much as I’d love to pile on Orban, the reality is that most european countries are either considering or already actively implementing bans on any foreign funding for political activism.
Yes, Musk being banned from funding things you don’t like also means things you do like ain’t getting foreign funding either.
Good, Democracy just leads to the swamp and inaction. This is a time we need strong leaders, not the populations “opinion”.
I have absolutely NO love for Orban.
I think that controlling US aid and keeping an eye on the outlets that receive funding is good, actually.
It’s been abundantly clear that the US is not an ally, they do not see a partner in Europe but a competitor.
