I wish my country finally bit the fucking bullet but nah. Joining the eurozone should’ve been a requirement that has to be reached in 5-10 years and if you don’t join you get kicked out
This doesn’t mean they’ll join the euro next month, probably not even this year.
There’s a whole procedure that needs to be followed – from a report from the Commission, to the European Council and the Eurogroup okeying it. The exchange rate also needs to be fixed and frozen. Expect January 1st 2026 as the target adoption date at best.
Yup our current government is so good, that highest prices and lowest income would get us Eurozone. Imagine with little more we could surpass Germany and make our own union with blackjack and all amenities.
Considering what happened in Croatia, why would they bother?
