      Young men everywhere are turning to the far-right. A mixture increasing economic inequality, poverty, and the fact that they’re often the prime target of “progressive” policies, accurately perceived or otherwise, means they’ll support whatever party that listens to them.

      Because they haven’t had their entire lives bombed into the ground, haven’t had any limbs blown off, haven’t been occupied by a foreign army in like 80 years. So they think they can handle anything because they don’t know what it’s like to lose everything the way older generations did.

      Some years ago was cool to be progressive influence by mass media (music, films, news narratives, fashion etc).

      Now since young people consume primarily social media algo that fashions and bombard hate speech with lots of macho influencers.

      However, this is rather short term as any trend. I.e woke, anti Wall Street didn’t last much.
