yeah the thing is that the US is not investing most of this in AI, but in reverse engineering non human technology.
I mean there were already two congressional hearings about crash retrieval program, at this point it’s difficult to believe that they are not investing gazillions of dollars in reverse engineering retrieved crafts and materials. this is more attractive technogical investment than even the AI.
