He wants a shit ton of Ukrainian rare minerals, but will hand Ukraine over to Russia the second he has a chance. Probably work out a deal with Putin to split the profits.

i feel like people forget that he had the same rhitorics during his first presidency: putin’s best friends yada-yada. but his actions put a lot of pressure on russia’s economy and influence: sanctions, supply of lethal weapons to Ukraine, energy exports that competed with russia, and a lot more.
trump is a populist. you don’t believe what they say. they are playing fool. they lie. they trick their opponents. but ultimately they do what benefits them the most. and i doubt trump wants to look weak and Ukraine to become 2nd Afghanistan.
What an idiot. This shows what most people already know, Trump doesn’t care about Ukraine.
Trump narrative is all over the place, but if there is any glimmer of intelligence behind this, this is definitely creeping towards a more pro-Russian stance.
Especially with Russia saying its relations to the US are deteriorating (there was another post about that)… What ever Russia says, the opposite is actually happening.
