      I wanted this to be funny, but California is one of the most progressive states, if not the most progressive. It’s eight times bigger in population than Denmark and who knows how much larger in land mass. And the sixth largest economy in the world. I’ll give the Danes a pass on insular Danish humor.

      I would love for Denmark to buy California and then realize that Los Angeles County alone would send more representatives to their government than their entire country. This is just a reverse way for the US to take control of Denmark lmao

      Scenario: Denmark buys California. California gets representation in the Danish parliament. The population of California is 39 million. The population of Denmark is 6 million. Which means California representatives would control parliament. Are the Danish people ready for open borders and sanctuary cities?
