About 40% (580) of all applications were made in Dublin, with Dublin City Council receiving the most (212). Fingal had 155 applications, South Dublin had 149, and Meath had 85. The total does not include applications from Mayo, Laois, and Carlow, as they did not provide data.
We got one despite not owning an XL bully. We have a 14 year old staffy, that because of his height is considered an xl bully by the dog warden when we asked about it. No one was able to answer what happens to dogs that are a separate breed that fit the broad as hell critea they laid out. So, despite all his paperwork saying staffy, he is now a “xl bully”
For the love of God I hope this breed just dies off and doesn’t come back. I am literally terrified of them. And I own a restricted breed. I cannot understand the need for something with such deadly and dangerous potential. Might as well have a fuckin puma on a lead.
