I wonder if perhaps they are part of the same series of books.

I remember sitting on that wee sofa nearly 30 years ago when I went with my dad on a vintage car rally. One of the stops was at Margaret’s house; she stories of old. I can still remember the smell of freshly cooked soda. An absolute titan of a person!

I’m still sort of agog at the lack of basic suvival skills from that other post. Like obviously we should have better infrastructure in the west given how often it does get battered, but when the lights and heat go out, a healthy young person shouldn’t be in crisis.
