Just like we considered “Closing the Sky” in feb 2022? Trump thinks this gives him an upper hand in negotiations, but Putin already has him by the balls.

    2. Mors_Umbra on

so russia shows up, throws shit on the walls, claims negotiations broke down because Ukraine was unreasonable and storms off.

      ‘there. we negotiated.’

Pretty much a nothing statement even if they intended on enforcing it because it’s so easy for russia to do whatever they like with it. Nothing but hot air.

    3. Prestigious-Tree-424 on

Trump is definitely keeping everyone guessing!!

At this point I do not trust the US. Europe needs to sort itself out and defend itself against russia and its dictator.

    5. Hendrik_the_Third on

putin is a gambler and knows this is very, *very* unlikely to happen, because Trump can’t ever sell it to his base. It’s an empty threat, feigning strength and impartialness, but it’s way too obvious.

    6. Beware_Spacemunkey on

Yeah right. Did the pos trump say that…..don’t trust a word that’s said when it now involves the US clown government

    7. speedyhml2000 on

Trump? Isn`t that the guy that said “They (…the RuZZians) are eating the cats and the dogs!” ?

You can’t take him seriously. Putler/the kremlin is laughing about that clown…they already know how to steer him. And we all gonna suffer…

Maybe the US could strike targets in Ukraine from Poland. Every company headquarters, tank, truck, trench, and fighter jet could be hit by stealth F35 or tomahawk cruise missiles, US casualties could be light. F35 pilots who are shot down may come down on Ukrainian territory.

It could even be incremental with just tomahawk missiles on Donbass targets then if that doesn’t work, a no fly zone, etc.

      >US Vice President JD Vance stated this in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

ha ha, that doesn’t mean the US is considering it. He says one thing, Hegseth says something else, and Trump will say something else. We can expect them to announce other things they are considering after they annex Canada

    10. dwolfe127 on

I don’t believe anything the US says at this point. We have become the bad guys and 78 Million Americans are completely OK with that.

    11. Professional_Act_820 on

Too late for that “negotiating tatic” the orange buffoon already gave a win to Pootin… and his idiot defense secritary, just yesterday, said no US troops and no NATO for Ukraine.

Three different positions from three different idiots.

WTF is with the bipolar foreign policy coming out of the USA on Ukraine right now..

Trump says no American boots on the ground in Ukraine, even as peace keepers.

Trump makes a deal with Ukraine for rare earth metals

Trump calls Putin to discuss peace, blames Ukraine for the invasion, snubs Zelenskyy.

Sec of D says Ukraine won’t be returned to previous borders borders

Vance says American troops a possibility.

Do they have a fucking magic 8 ball in the oval office that they shake up every morning or what?

    13. 1_Total_Reject on

As an American, I wish we would send troops to Ukraine. Our government leaders are too weak and full of crap on this topic though. So it’s not gonna happen even if they float comments about it like this. It’s part of their game.

    14. Nonamanadus on

Yeah I would be suspect that on a whim Trump uses the army to subdue the Ukrainians for a hand over to Russia.

    15. Authoranders on

I wouldn’t bet money on it.. Fuck usa. EU, your time has come!

    16. Jet2work on

add more words …in goodfaith….may as well send the boots now!

    17. Howitdobiglyboo on

Bruh, everyday in this current US administration leaves me completely dumbfounded asking “wtf is going on?”.

Unlike some others who assume some sort of 4D machiavellian planning on either Trump’s or even Putin’s side, I think neither, NEITHER, knows what the fuck they’re doing or saying.

    18. mightypup1974 on

A ruse. Russia will of course negotiate because Trump will give Putin everything he demands. This is just to trick the easily fooled into thinking Trump is playing hardball.

    19. MrSoapbox on

As Ukranians you should understand this tactic very well. We’ve got numerous people all saying different stuff, all contradicting, all pandering to a certain base. This is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a very Russian tactic. Maskirovka, fog of war, Firehood of Falsehoods…call it whatever you want, but it’s very deliberate and shows that the US is not to be trusted.

Make no mistake, Trump does not have Ukraine’s interest at heart, he made this clear from the “very perfect phone call” first term. All this is, is Trump trying to calm the anger of the Ukrainian side supporters both home and abroad, by being able to say “look, we tried!” whilst giving putin a handy under the table while he says it to your face. The fact is, first lady putin is the one he takes to bed every night and it’s putin doing the pegging as they share secrets.

    20. nah, that would mean fighting real war. they only know how to beat shit out of bums with 19th century weaponry

    21. Spokraket on

No point to take anything the US says seriously now. They obviously have no clue wth they are doing.

Ukraine and the EU we should keep moving forward. Putin is a huge threat to us all.

Trump is just a senile orange moron and his followers are behaving exactly like the Russian orchs.

    22. Fugaduga69 on

Trump is merely a useful idiot/ paid actor playing president
