      This is Europe’s chance to stand up and be counted, or to get steamrolled. But they aren’t going to be able to do anything that matters unless they are willing to up their budgets and start producing weapons at a much greater rate. I just don’t know if Europe has the will.

      Either grow a spine and rise to meet this menace head on, here and now, on your terms, or allow putin to rebuild and recruit again and try again in a few years with lessons learned. There is not time for squabbling or infighting anymore. I’m sorry the US can’t be relied on any more, and I’m ashamed of my country for it, but placating this lunatic can only strengthen and embolden him. Unite now and stand fast together while russia is weak.

      Before the negotiations started Trump conceded the current contact line, NATO membership, Crimea, European participation in the negotiations, no NATO or US troops in Ukraine. All that Putin asked for, his minimal goals for the Special Military Operation. If Europeans are not a part of the negotiations, they’re not going to be a part of the settlement. Why would France or the UK accept anything that comes out of these talks? It’s just a formalized capitulation to Russia.

      If you give a mouse a cookie, it will ask for a glass of milk. Europe is strong when it sticks together and I do not believe Europe will allow Trump to steam roll over Ukraine.
